Richard Annor (richannor)
Richard Annor, also called Richannor, is a fine art and portrait photographer based in Ghana, West Africa. The following is a narrative of his personal journey towards self-discovery.
In 2018, Richard found himself in a position where he had to re-evaluate his life's direction and purpose. He realized he needed a change and decided to venture into photography. Richard purchased a Canon 70D camera and started teaching himself the art of photography. He burnt all the bridges behind him and committed himself to becoming a professional photographer.
In 2020, Richard's stepfather passed away from liver failure, and he had to step up as a father figure to his stepsisters. This event made him realize that he, too, would die someday, and he wanted to be remembered for something meaningful. This propelled him to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a photographer. Richard aims to use his photography skills to inspire and motivate the youth in his society.

Phil Fisher
“Phil Fisher has been painting professionally in Naples, FL, using watercolors and oils for 40 years. The majority of his work is done "plein air," so he has a visual preference for landscapes. His colorful and vibrant paintings often get the comment..."They just make me happy!"
"I love being around the water, so I am particularly fond of boats (especially sailboats), beaches, and palm trees. I also love the tropical light and colors of the islands."
In his paintings, he shows his fondness for places he traveled to. His paintings feature scenes of Italy, San Miguel, Mexico, The Bahamas, Florida, Ohio, New England states, and Northern Michigan. He paints in a palette that expresses his emotional connection with the light he experiences in these different areas of the world.
Phil and his wife, Natalie, own and operate their own galleries in downtown Naples, FL.”
Tina Bland
“I spent my time growing up in Central Florida barefoot and alone, exploring the woods and water. Sent to school for the first time when I was six (Catholic school, no less!) I soon learned the nuns neither appreciated nor tolerated rule breakers and weirdos. Much later, I moved to Tallahassee for college. I started meeting other creatives, which led me to N.Y.C. and the punk scene.
During the years, I worked a myriad of jobs, sold everything from bras to boa constrictors, waited tables, became a chef, worked at a fish farm, learned floral design, got a real estate license, you name it. A friend introduced me to folk art in the eighties, and that's when I realized there are many different kinds of art. Years later, back in Southwest Florida, I read a newspaper article about Florida folk artists, and I became obsessed, reading everything I could find.
In 2009, I went on a couple of road trips and was able to meet Ruby Williams and Kurt Zimmerman. A few months after that, I started painting on scraps of wood. I remember my friend telling me at twenty-one that I was an artist, and it took me forty years to do it. Thanks, Rod!”
